Campaign Overview: Samsung collaborated with ITV’s Love Island as the official phone partner for two series, integrating the Galaxy S( & S10+ into the villa to capture iconic moments, including the show’s signature "I've got a text!" notifications. The campaign also engaged fans through the #S10HotShots competition, offering a chance to win a trip to the Love Island villa and tickets to the live final.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent & PR Coordination: Organized collaborations with former islanders, arranging a creative photoshoot that showcased the Galaxy S10+’s camera capabilities through unique forced perspective images.

  • Product Integration & License: Ensured the Galaxy S10+ devices were successfully incorporated into the villa, allowing contestants to document their experiences while naturally highlighting key phone features.

  • Content Capture Management: Supervised freelance digital producers responsible for capturing and curating content directly from the phones, ensuring timely and engaging material for broadcast and digital platforms.

  • Social Media Strategy: Managed a social media assistant in developing content plans and drafting copy, aligning with campaign objectives to maximize audience engagement.

  • Winner Experience Management: Arranged the #S10HotShots competition winner’s trip to the Love Island villa, including exclusive tickets to the live final.

Impact & Results:

  • Brand Integration: The Galaxy S10+ became an integral part of the show, with its features prominently showcased during key moments.
